Ulefone Armor X10 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Ulefone Armor X10 Pro Overview
Ulefone Armor X10 Pro - improvements that do not save the day
To radically change not the most successful smartphone model with small investments is an almost impossible task. Unfortunately, it was the Chinese company Ulefon that set itself the production of the hero of today's review. Has the novelty become more relevant and does it have a chance of good sales? Let's figure it out.
The gadget has no changes in terms of design, which is frustrating. Huge screen bezels, lack of a fingerprint scanner, excessive body thickness - all these things have pushed many people away from buying a phone. Perhaps, only the dual camera unit and the texture of the back panel are trying to decorate the exterior. The 5.45-inch IPS screen is also not considered successful. If the low resolution of HD + allows you to make the picture clear with a modest diagonal, then mediocre values of brightness and contrast nullify the visibility of the image in direct sunlight. And even indoors, using such a display is not always comfortable.
Specifications have moved ahead in terms of performance, but weakly. One outdated CPU ( Mediatek Helio A22) was replaced with another ( P22 ) with more cores, which only helped in getting a smoother Android 11 interface. The gaming capabilities of the processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and the old PowerVR GE8320 video adapter, are frankly bad. Even undemanding 3D games like World Of Tanks Blitz are difficult for the chipset, friezes are often noticeable. But the developer brought the amount of ROM to 64GB , so not all buyers will need MicroSD cards . If the response speed of the system is not impressive, then such words cannot be said about autonomy. Thanks to the energy efficiency of the components used, the 5150mAh battery organizes about two days of active interaction with the mobile assistant.
The cameras were up too. Although the 20- and 2-megapixel sensors, led by the Sony IMX376, still upset when shooting at night, during daytime photo shoots, there are noticeably more details on the frames. Of the pluses, we also highlight stereo speakers that are rare for the segment, NFC contactless payment and, of course, moisture protection according to IP68 standards. At the same time, a durable rubberized Android smartphone adequately endures falls from a height. Thus, if the reliability and battery life of the device are a priority, then the considered unit will not disappoint. In other cases, it is worth looking for an alternative from other brands.
