Ulefone Armor X6 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Ulefone Armor X6 Pro Overview
Ulefone Armor X6 Pro - protected and outdated
The actions of the Chinese company Ulefone sometimes do not always lend themselves to logic. So, for some reason, an experienced smartphone manufacturer decided to release a Pro version of a budget phone almost three years ago. Apparently, it was the desire to sell stock balances that prompted the developer to create not the most competitive device.
The appearance of the novelty is simply bad. Huge display frames, mediocre body ergonomics, lack of a fingerprint sensor and a single camera module cause only negative emotions. The 5-inch IPS screen is not devoid of picture clarity at HD resolution, but it lags behind the opponents' solutions in terms of contrast and brightness, and there is no oleophobic coating. The direct rays of the sun actually completely eliminate the visibility of the image, the user will have to look for a shadow or act blindly.
In terms of technical characteristics, there have been changes, but not as significant as we would like. The MediaTek Helio A22 processor already has support for 4G networks and increased performance, but it is not enough for the smooth operation of the resource-intensive Android 12. Of course, the gaming capabilities of the chipset do not amaze. If two-dimensional projects are launched without any problems, then only World Of Tanks Blitz and PUBG will be available from three-dimensional games with minimal graphics settings. At the same time, the gameplay on a small IPS display is unlikely to be comfortable. The size of the internal memory is 32GB, which is small by today's standards. However, the buyer is allowed to store multimedia files on MicroSD cards as well.
The 13-megapixel photo module is definitely better than its 8-megapixel predecessor and will now allow you to think about daytime shooting of portraits or landscapes. But evening shots or indoor shots will look like an abundance of noise with a lot of blurry objects. The only speaker is not loud, so you should turn on the vibration so as not to miss a call or message. The battery capacity of 4000mAh, although it seems relatively modest, is enough for a couple of days of working with the gadget thanks to the energy-efficient IPS panel. NFC contactless payments and IP68 waterproofing are the strengths of the Android smartphone, but they are not able to make it a device that deserves attention.
