Ulefone Power Armor 13 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Ulefone Power Armor 13 Overview
Ulefone Power Armor 13 - heavyweight combination
The Chinese company Ulefon has a fairly wide range of smartphones. So, its Power-line is aimed at providing maximum autonomy, and the Armor-series of phones is characterized by full protection against dust and moisture according to IP68 standards. But what happens if you combine these two lines together? As shown by the hero of today's review, it turns out something completely devoid of ergonomics.
The appearance of the novelty is not deprived of relevant elements (the design of four cameras, a side fingerprint sensor), but the increased strength, coupled with a huge battery, has increased the dimensions of the case to such an extent that the device is inconvenient to use. Even brutal two-meter men will not be able to control the gadget with one hand, and the palm will quickly get tired of the excess weight of an Android smartphone. The 6.81-inch OGS-screen is not endowed with narrow bezels, but the picture quality is good. The resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels is sufficient for image clarity, the reserve of brightness is enough for staying with the mobile assistant in direct sunlight. But, of course, for complex operations it is better to find a shadow.
The technical characteristics turned out to be decent. The Mediatek Helio G95 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and the Mali G76MC4 graphics adapter, are still ready to cope with resource-intensive games, even if in the most demanding projects like Genshin Impact, the graphics settings will have to be cut to medium presets. The dimensions of the device eliminate the strong heating of the CPU - there is almost no throttling. And from a crazy-capacity 13200mAh battery, the device operates for more than 15 hours of active screen time with three days of use. The result is incredible. Internal storage is also not satisfactory. An impressive 256GB of ROM is also expandable with microSD cards .
Photographic possibilities came out controversial. On the one hand, the 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor, together with the auxiliary 8- and 2-megapixel modules, do not have optical stabilization and high-quality lenses, so there is no need to dream of the flagship photo detail. On the other hand, for a not the most expensive IP68 smartphone, such photomodules are very good, daytime shots are natural and rich, even small details are visible on them, and although evening shots are full of noise, they are quite suitable for exposure to social networks. NFC contactless payments and wireless charging will be other incentives to take a closer look at the phablet, but the inconvenience of using an Android phone negates the abundance of its advantages.
