Vivo IQOO 10 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo IQOO 10 Overview
Vivo IQOO 10 - performance without frills
What do most users require from a flagship smartphone? In 99% of cases, the list will start with such parameters as premium build materials, sophisticated design, impressive photo opportunities. Only at the end of the listing will a certain percentage of people remember about the wireless charging method and moisture protection. If you belong to that part of the audience that does not need these features, then the hero of the review will give a lot of positive emotions for a reasonable price.
The appearance of the novelty is not much different from that of its predecessors, but the changes are not much and are necessary due to the original features of the corporate exterior. The familiar colors of glass cases with an attractive carbon texture, stylish large camera units and a frameless display with a still noticeable 16-megapixel front photo module are simply bound to please lovers of beautiful mobile electronics. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display also deserves a good, if not excellent, rating. FullHD + resolution is still not a record today, but such an omission is justified both by the developer’s desire to reduce the cost of the flagship, and by the amazing brightness and contrast values. Of course, such attributes of a modern AMOLED panel as a 120-Hz image refresh rate, a high-quality oleophobic layer and a fairly accurate fingerprint sensor have not gone away.
Specifications are represented by the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 8GB / 12GB of RAM and the Adreno 730 video core, so there is no need to complain about the rendering speed of the Android 12 interface and the operation of games. The most resource-intensive projects, namely Fortnite, Alien: Isolation and Genshin Impact, will not upset you with framerate drops at high graphic presets. But the maximum settings can lead to throttling. The battery capacity was 4700mAh, which will usually last for a day and a half without looking for an outlet. The fast charging power was brought up to 120W, so the charger can be turned off after 20-25 minutes. The internal storage size is limited to 128GB/256GB/512GB, but this volume is enough for hundreds of applications, video files.
The main 50-, 13- and 12-megapixel cameras, although they have not undergone cardinal metamorphosis, are still ready to please even with high-quality evening photography. There are several reasons for this, namely an optimized optical stabilization system, excellent lenses and well-tuned software. There will be no problems with the detail of 4K video. Among other pluses, NFC contactless payments, stereo speakers, and a metal edging of an Android smartphone stand out. There is also support for 5G networks. Thus, we have a technologically advanced and really cool device that, for all its merits, will not empty your wallet.
