Vivo IQOO 9T Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo IQOO 9T Overview
Vivo IQOO 9T - minimum differences
The Android smartphone market is becoming more and more rapid as manufacturers improve their products. To remain competitive, the developer has to update its flagship lines every six months. However, sometimes such successful devices come out from under the conveyor of a particular company that there is actually nothing to change in them. For example, the hero of today's review has become an almost complete copy of its predecessor.
The appearance of the novelty is 99% identical to that of the "nine". Both expensive body materials (glass, metal) and the branded carbon texture in white, black and orange color options are copied. Only the three-camera unit and the bezel width of the 6.78-inch AMOLED display have undergone minor metamorphoses, but they can only be detected upon very close examination. The quality of the picture displayed by the AMOLED panel is at the same level, but this fact cannot be considered a disadvantage. Vibrant and rich colors at 2400x1080 pixels look great and are complemented by remarkably smooth images with a 120Hz refresh rate. You can only criticize the under-screen fingerprint sensor, which sometimes does not recognize the fingerprints of the owner of the gadget.
The performance of the technical specifications received a tiny upgrade, because the role of the processor was given to the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. Together with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and the Adreno 730 GPU, it provides a huge amount of power for any game, although its values slightly reduced after an hour or two of gameplay. The reason for this is throttling. Because of it, the device also heats up, reaching not the most comfortable indicators. The energy efficiency of top chipsets has never been their strong point, so a good autonomy of the phablet is achieved due to a capacious 4700mAh battery. You need to charge it once every one and a half days, the process itself will take literally 20 minutes thanks to fast charging with a power of 120W. There are no problems with the size of the internal storage, because its volume was 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 format.
The 50-, 13-, and 12-megapixel sensors are great. Excellent software optimization, optical stabilization and 2x zoom, high-quality lenses will help you get detailed day and evening shots with excellent dynamic range and minimal noise. Of course, the high-tech device could not do without pleasant stereo sound, NFC contactless payments, improved Android 12. The democratic price tag characteristic of the IQOO series allows you to ignore minor flaws, lack of moisture protection and wireless charging, but, on the contrary, recommend an Android smartphone to acquisition.
