Vivo Pad Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo Pad Overview
Vivo Pad - a combination of power and grace
The Chinese company Vivo cannot be denied the ability to make truly beautiful products. Even relatively inexpensive corporation smartphones have always been distinguished by sophisticated design. Not without the beauty of the exterior and the first tablet of the manufacturer, which is the hero of today's review. However, the internal content of the novelty turned out to be very relevant.
The appearance of the gadget can cause, if not delight, then certainly positive emotions. The metal body pleasantly cools the hand and practically does not collect scratches, the block of two cameras located in the corner of the rear panel has an extremely original and stylish design. The 12-inch AMOLED screen eschews the thick bezels common to many Android tablet opponents. A resolution of 2560x1080 pixels, an excellent margin of brightness, amazing image smoothness at a 120 Hz refresh rate - this is an incomplete list of the competitive advantages of the AMOLED panel involved. In addition, I would like to praise the display for the support of styluses, and for the accuracy of the installed fingerprint sensor.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, although it has been on the market for more than one year, will still be a joy even for sophisticated gamers. The decent performance of the chipset, coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and Adreno 650 GPU, is enough to run all Android games at maximum graphics presets. Even fans of Genshin Impact and Fortnite will not be upset. At the same time, the technical characteristics are not devoid of energy efficiency. It is easy to get up to ten hours of active screen time from a 10000mAh battery, fast charging is present. Heating and throttling also bypass the CPU. Memory for storing information is allocated from 128 to 512GB , you need to select the amount of ROM in accordance with the scenarios for using the future mobile assistant.
13- and 2-megapixel photomodules, of course, do not amaze with photo capabilities. They are more suitable for video calls, as well as capturing documents or, at the most, creating daytime shots in good light. The same words apply to the 8-megapixel selfie camera. But the stereo sound , reproduced by as many as four speakers, was a success. The loudness and balance of the frequency response are not satisfactory. And if we add to the above work in 5G networks and, as a result, the ability to make calls, Android 12 and a reasonable price, then there is no doubt about the huge sales of the device.
