The new generation of the S-series of smartphones from the Chinese company Vivo has not done with just one device. So, the manufacturer decided to please its fans with the Pro-version of the phone, which advances the already impressive performance and photo capabilities. But has the developer forgotten about the original focus of the line?

The design of the Android smartphone noticeably resembles that of the recent Realme and Oppo. Similarities can be found both in the overall dimensions and in the design of the front and main cameras. But the colors of the glass cases have been changed, which have become more serious, more beautiful. The 6.56-inch AMOLED screen falls short of the flagship counterparts in terms of image clarity and brightness, but within the price category, it can only be praised. Pictures retain visibility in direct sunlight, pleases with a 120-Hz refresh rate and, as a result, amazing smoothness. Savings are not visible on the quality of the under-screen fingerprint sensor, the oleophobic layer.

Specifications are presented by the latest Mediatek Dimensity 8100 chipset, which is actively assisted by 8GB / 12GB of RAM and the Mali G610-MC6 video core. This is an excellent gaming solution that will satisfy every gamer. The maximum graphics settings will be available even in the resource-intensive Genshin Impact, while the stability of the framerate does not disappear even after a couple of hours of gameplay. This achievement is possible due to reasonable heat dissipation and slight throttling. The power efficiency of the processor is also excellent, so you only need to charge the 4500mAh battery two to three times a week. Fast charging with a power of 80W guarantees a set of 100% capacity in less than half an hour. Of course, the phablet was not left without an impressive 256GB of ROM.

If the main photomodule is the same (50-megapixel Sony IMX766), then the auxiliary 13- and 2-megapixel sensors do their job better. The wide-angle photosensor especially pulled itself up in detailing the photos. The whole trinity demonstrates, as a result, excellent shots even at night thanks to a well-developed hybrid stabilization system and high-quality optics, the 32-megapixel selfie module also surprises on the positive side. Of course, practically the flagship did not do without stereo sound, support for 5G networks and NFC contactless payments. But the favorites of millions of moisture protection and wireless charging are not here because of the corporation's desire to reduce the cost of an Android phone. But that is why we got a not so expensive, but extremely balanced device with no visible disadvantages.
