Vivo V30 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo V30 Overview
Vivo V30 is the pride of the price segment
It's amazing how much mid-price smartphones have advanced in design, performance and functionality over the past couple of years. Now other inexpensive phones are easily confused with flagships. A living example of such a device is the hero of today’s review.
The designers of the Chinese company Vivo clearly do not receive their salaries in vain. The beautiful texture of the rear glass panel combines perfectly with the original dual camera unit, the frameless display smoothly transitions to the side edges and pleases with the built-in fingerprint sensor. The phablet feels more expensive in your hands than its real price. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel is also impressive. An impressive resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, a maximum brightness level reaching almost 2000 nits, a 120 Hz picture refresh rate, no errors in color rendering, and an effective oleophobic coating allow us to give the screen an excellent rating.
The technical characteristics are the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 8/12GB of RAM and the Adreno 720 video adapter. The processor perfectly combines power and energy efficiency. 850 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark make it clear that even a sophisticated gamer will not be left without games. Medium-high graphic presets in Genshin Impact and Fortnite will provide both visual beauty and stable framerate. At the same time, it’s fair to expect up to 9-10 hours of active screen time from a 5000mAh battery. Wireless charging is not provided, but its wired alternative is characterized by a power of 80W. Permanent memory can be allocated from 128 to 512GB. The smallest option is not recommended as there is no microSD card slot.
A pair of 50-megapixel photo modules (Omnivision OV50E main sensor with hybrid stabilization and wide-angle lens) are quite suitable even for evening shooting. Of course, a certain amount of noise reveals the direction of the device and its real price tag, but it’s hard to find fault with the detailing and color reproduction. Stereo sound is also not disappointing with volume; bass is also audible. NFC contactless payments are available and making purchases is very easy. Android 14 with excellent optimization complements the list of advantages of a truly interesting gadget.
