Vivo X200 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo X200 Overview
Vivo X200 - record-breaking, but so affordable power
The Chinese company Vivo knows how to make truly interesting and relevant flagship and sub-flagship smartphones. The latter, perhaps, gain even greater love from the audience, because they convey the beauty, functionality and performance of their older brothers almost without simplifications. The hero of today's review, based on the latest gaming processor, will not be an exception.
The appearance of the new product is not too different from that of its predecessor, but this is more a plus than a minus. An attractive round block of photo modules harmoniously coexists with matte colors of the rear panels, a metal frame of the case, even thinner display frames with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The developer did not increase the resolution of the 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, but even at 2800 x 1260 pixels, the clarity of the picture is quite good. But the peak brightness level has grown to 4500 nits, the smoothness of the reproduced content is impeccable thanks to the image refresh rate of 120 Hz. I do not want to scold the color rendering, the sensitivity of the touch panel, the effectiveness of the oleophobic layer.
The technical characteristics were the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 CPU, 12/16 GB of RAM. The bundle scores more than three million points in the AnTuTu benchmark, causing a real shock in any user with such a result. Gamers will be able to easily immerse themselves in the worlds of the most resource-intensive Android games like Honkai: Star Rail with any graphic settings, while other categories of buyers will be surprised by the incomparable responsiveness of the Android 14 interface, truly instant launch of applications. The chipset made using the 3 Nm process technology does not disappoint with its autonomy. The 5800mAh battery will need to be charged once every couple of days, for this there is a fast wired charger with a power of 90W. The wireless analog is saved for more expensive brothers. But the permanent memory is allocated 256/512/1024 GB of UFS 4.0 format.
The main cameras are a 50-megapixel main sensor from Sony with hybrid stabilization, a wide-angle lens from Samsung in the same 50MP and a telephoto lens from Omnivision in 64MP (also with OIS). This is a decent set of cameras, with which even evening shooting of moving objects will not cause difficulties. Photo and video materials will please with detail, the absence of noise. Stereo speakers are characterized by clean, loud sound with clearly audible bass. Support for NFC contactless payments and 5G networks, an IR port for controlling household appliances add to the list of advantages, but there are also some disadvantages. Thus, a global version of the phablet is not expected, so you will have to put up with some untranslated menu items and sometimes problematic notifications. But all these are trifles against the background of other parameters of a stunning device.
