Vivo X200 Mini Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo X200 Mini Overview
Vivo X200 Mini - a compact opponent of flagships
The Chinese company Vivo carefully monitors the situation on the smartphone market and carefully adapts to it. Thus, an increasing number of users dream of smaller, ergonomic, but at the same time functional and productive smartphones like the Apple iPhone 16 Pro. And it seems that the hero of today's review was meant as a worthy opponent to the aforementioned world bestseller.
The appearance of the new product is attractive and memorable. It is difficult not to fall in love with the signature round block of photo modules, the convenient and graceful shape of the case made of glass and metal, thin display frames with a built-in fingerprint sensor. The delight from the design is even more obvious from the awareness of the fact of the presence of moisture protection according to IP68 standards. The 6.3-inch AMOLED screen received a FullHD+ resolution. The developer did not chase record picture clarity, which would lead to a deterioration in the energy efficiency of the components. Other advantages of the displayed image are the 120 Hz refresh rate, impressive peak brightness of 5000 nits and minimal errors in color rendering.
The technical characteristics are the most powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400 CPU, 12/16 GB of RAM. The bundle scores over three million points in the AnTuTu benchmark, which will make even the most sophisticated gamers smile. Literally all resource-intensive gaming projects will function at maximum graphics settings. Throttling is present, but the framerate remains relatively stable even after a couple of hours of gameplay. The compactness did not affect the battery capacity, which reached 5000 mAh. It is enough for a day and a half of autonomous operation of the device, and you need to be near the outlet for about 30-35 minutes (fast charging at 100 W). Unfortunately, you won't be able to charge your mobile assistant wirelessly. There is no slot for MicroSD cards, although it is hardly necessary with 256/512 GB of internal storage.
Photo capabilities are represented by the main latest 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 sensor with hybrid stabilization, a wide-angle module of the same 50 MP and a 13 MP telephoto lens with a three-fold optical zoom. The combination is suitable for many shooting scenarios, both distant objects and evening landscapes and dynamic events come out equally detailed. The stereo speakers are loud, the sound is voluminous, the bass is audible. NFC contactless payments, 5G frequencies and Android 14 are also not forgotten, which cannot be said about the FDD-LTE B7. A global version of the device is not planned yet, so you will have to put up with several untranslated applications and services, but such compromises are definitely worth it. The device turned out to be too interesting and relevant.
