Vivo X200 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo X200 Pro Overview
Vivo X200 Pro - a flight to new heights
The flagship smartphones of the Chinese company Vivo are becoming more competitive and technologically advanced every year. If a few years ago only rare fans of mobile electronics knew about high-end phones from the developer, today bloggers and journalists around the world compare the photo capabilities, performance and functionality of devices with the best analogues. The hero of today's review claims to be the leader in many respects.
The appearance of the new product continues the design concept of its predecessor. The familiar massive block of photo modules and the shape of the case made of glass and metal are still pleasing to the eye, unusual textures of the rear panels, a truly frameless display with an accurate under-screen fingerprint scanner add attractiveness to the exterior. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen has become even more beautiful. The brightness reserve has come close to the 3000 nit mark, the resolution of 2800x1260 pixels provides excellent picture clarity, which is complemented by smoothness at a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Of course, it could not do without realistic color rendition, excellent oleophobic coating.
The technical characteristics were the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 CPU, 12/16 GB of RAM and the Mali Immortalis-G925 MC12 video adapter. The bundle surpasses the previous top solution by about 20% both in benchmark results (more than 3,000,000 points in the AnTuTu test) and in energy efficiency. All modern games function flawlessly at maximum graphic presets, even Genshin Impact and Fortnite are not included in the list of exceptions. And the 6000 mAh battery more often than not works for a couple of days. Wired charging with a power of 90 W is adjacent to a wireless alternative of 30 W. It is not possible to expand the permanent memory, but it is hardly worth being upset about this fact given the presence of 256/512/1024 GB of ROM.
The main 50-megapixel module Sony LYT818 (hybrid stabilization), telephoto lens (3.7x Zoom, OIS) and wide-angle lens of the same 50 MP raise the bar of photographic capabilities to heights previously unseen in the manufacturer's products. The cameras manage to take detailed photos and videos in 8K resolution literally in any lighting conditions, the amount of noise and blur is small even with increased dynamics of events. Stereo sound, NFC contactless payments, 5G network support, full protection from dust and moisture according to IP68 standards expand the list of advantages, which distracts from the only critical disadvantage - the lack of a global version of the device. However, it is easy to ignore some untranslated applications and services in such a high-tech and reasonably priced phablet.
