The iQOO line of smartphones from the Chinese company Vivo has always amazed us with its price-to-quality ratio, thanks to which it has earned the love of mobile electronics fans around the world. Even the lack of a global version of many phones and the associated problems were not an obstacle. The hero of today’s review will definitely earn millions in sales, because its functionality and performance are truly delightful.

The design of the new product has changed for the better. The updated block of photomodules looks expensive and stylish, the glass back panel is harmoniously complemented by a metal edging. The display frames have become smaller and the body itself has been ergonomically shaped. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen still pleases with an excellent built-in fingerprint scanner and an unobtrusive peephole of a 16-megapixel selfie camera. A resolution of 3200x1440 pixels helps the AMOLED panel achieve excellent picture clarity, while the 144 Hz refresh rate maximizes its smoothness. What's truly impressive is the brightness margin, which reaches up to 2700 nits in peaks. You don't have to worry about content visibility in direct sunlight.

The technical characteristics are Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, 12GB/16GB of RAM and Adreno 750 video core. This is the most productive combination today, the power of which will be enough for any operations for the next 4-5 years. More than two million points in the AnTuTu benchmark indicate that the most resource-intensive games will work perfectly with any graphic presets and demonstrate a frame rate of 60 frames per second or more. The battery capacity has also increased to 5100 mAh, which, together with the impressive energy efficiency of the processor, has a positive effect on battery life. It's easy to expect up to 10 hours of active screen time on a single battery charge. There are both wired (120W) and wireless (50W) charging methods. The size of the permanent memory varies from 256 to 1024GB in different phablet configurations.

The main photo modules are a 50-megapixel main OmniVision OV50H with hybrid stabilization, a Samsung JN1 wide-angle lens of the same 50 megapixels, a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom and OIS. It’s hard to find fault with the photographs and videos they create, because the detail is high, regardless of the lighting, and the noise reduction works perfectly. The stereo sound is impressive, it is loud, balanced, and pleasant to the ear. NFC contactless payments, 5G support are available, to achieve perfection in the price category, the only thing missing is water protection according to IP68 standards and an international version of the device. That is why there are untranslated application services and menu items. However, such little things do not spoil the impression of a first-class gadget that is ready to be a hit.
