A flagship processor is one of those things that most buyers want to see in their mobile assistant. Unfortunately, the barrier is usually the price tag of top-end smartphones, which often exceeds a thousand dollars. And only in rare cases do manufacturers decide to take pity and release an incredibly productive device at an affordable price. The hero of today's review is one of these exceptions.

The appearance of the new product is not very different from that of its predecessor. Among the innovations, the updated unit, now with a triple camera, and slightly reduced display frames catch the eye. The shape of the candy bar, assembly materials, the location of the fingerprint scanner in the screen, and the colors of the cases remain the same. As for the 6.78-inch AMOLED panel, its improvements include a maximum brightness reserve of more than 2000 nits, an almost complete absence of PWM effect, and an excellent 144 Hz image refresh rate. In terms of picture resolution (2800x1260 pixels), the realism of its color rendering is also not bad.

Of course, the technical characteristics deserve compliments. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 CPU impresses with benchmark results. More than two million points in AnTuTu guarantee trouble-free operation of any applications and games in the next 3-4 years. Of course, such achievements would have been impossible without 12GB/16GB of RAM and the Mali Immortalis-G720 MC12 graphics adapter. It’s hard not to notice the perfect smoothness of the Android 14 interface, which takes just a few seconds to launch any processes. Autonomy does not raise questions, because the 5160 mAh battery lasts for a day and a half of using the device. The wired charging power is impressive (120W), so you won’t have to stay at the outlet for more than 25 minutes. There is no wireless charging method, but the cost of the phablet is significantly reduced. The size of permanent memory has reached 256/512/1024GB in UFS 4.0 format. There is no slot for MicroSD cards.

The main 50-megapixel photo module with hybrid stabilization and a wide-angle lens of the same 50MP cover a fairly wide range of shooting scenarios. With several takes you can even take a high-quality photograph of moving objects in mediocre lighting. Cameras achieve an “excellent” rating for simpler photo shoot conditions. Stereo sound is loud (88-90db in peaks), bass is present. We also note NFC contactless payments and 5G support. But at the same time, the user will clearly feel the lack of moisture protection, as well as the global version of the gadget. It is for this reason that there is no FDD-LTE B20, but there are untranslated service applications for China. But if you come to terms with these shortcomings, the phone will leave only positive emotions.
