Xiaomi POCO C75 5G Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi POCO C75 5G Overview
Xiaomi POCO C75 5G - striving for the best
Smartphones at the turn of the low and mid-price segments are experiencing some stagnation. It is easy to find dozens of similar models that are not much different from their predecessors released a year or two earlier. However, the Chinese company Poco (a sub-brand of the Xiaomi corporation) is not satisfied with this state of affairs. And the hero of today's review is obliged to correct the current situation in the cost category.
The appearance of the new product turned out to be attractive. Of course, the developer's desire to reduce the cost could not but affect the design, so there are also disadvantages in the form of an outdated design of the 8-megapixel selfie camera, not the narrowest screen frames. But the beautiful colors of the back panels made of high-quality and not particularly easily soiled polycarbonate, the convenient location of the fingerprint scanner on the side and the current round block of photo modules will definitely leave positive emotions. The 6.88-inch IPS display turned out to be more controversial, largely due to the low HD+ resolution. Of course, it is not enough for a clear picture with the selected diagonal, small fonts will seem loose. But in other respects, the IPS panel does not lag behind those of its opponents. The peak brightness of 650 nits allows you to see the image on a sunny day, albeit with difficulty, the smoothness of the content at a refresh rate of 120 Hz and its color rendition are excellent.
The technical characteristics are the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 CPU, 4 GB / 6 GB RAM and Adreno 611 video accelerator. The bundle is at the level of MediaTek Helio G99 and Dimensity 6080 (400 thousand points in AnTuTu) in terms of performance, but in a number of resource-intensive games like Zenless Zone Zero it shows itself even better. The graphics settings will be far from the maximum, but the frame rate is quite stable. At the same time, there is support for 5G networks and good energy efficiency. The 5160 mAh battery often gives about 8-9 hours of active screen time. This result is adjacent to fast wired charging with a power of 18 W. The constant memory can be allocated 64/128 GB depending on the configuration, there is a slot for MicroSD cards.
Photo capabilities are represented by the main 50-megapixel module from Sony and an auxiliary 2-megapixel portrait sensor. Optical stabilization is not provided, but the chance of getting a decently detailed evening photo exists due to the quality of the main photosensor. There is no stereo sound, but music lovers have a separate headphone output. But contactless NFC payments are absent due to the focus of the phablet on the Indian market. The updated HyperOS shell based on Android 14 adds to the list of advantages of an inexpensive, but balanced and technological gadget.
