Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Overview
Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro - an unexpected flagship
Tablets from the Chinese company Xiaomi are popular regardless of the sub-brand or price category they were produced for. In any case, the user gets an extremely high price-quality ratio. The hero of today's review has the same, released completely unexpectedly and at the same time having every chance of becoming extremely popular.
The appearance of the new product is stylish and strict. A minimum of unnecessary details, a beautiful camera design, relatively thin screen frames, a glass back panel with many eye-pleasing colors, a side fingerprint scanner located on a metal frame will leave a positive impression on the vast majority of buyers. It is difficult to express complaints about the huge 12.5-inch IPS display. Yes, the technology is outdated, but the IPS panel itself has a good peak brightness of 1000 nits. AMOLED analogs are better, but not dramatically. But there is also a flagship resolution of 3200x2136 pixels, excellent content smoothness at a refresh rate of 144 Hz, high-quality oleophobic coating and natural color rendition with excellent calibration.
The technical characteristics include a slightly simplified proprietary Xring O1 CPU, 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and a Mali Immortalis-G925 MC16 video core, which together score more than two million points in the AnTuTu test. The performance is more than enough for any operation. Applications launch in a split second, and demanding games like Zenless Zone Zero or Fortnite work with maximum graphics presets. The frame rate exceeds 60 frames per second even after several hours of gameplay. Autonomy is also good thanks to the energy efficiency of the chipset and an impressive 10610 mAh battery. Thanks to fast charging with a power of 120W, you will have to stay near the outlet for about 50-60 minutes, and the full capacity is enough for a couple of days of using the device. The permanent memory is 256/512/1024 GB of UFS 4.1 format.
The device also has excellent photographic capabilities for the electronics segment. The main 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor can handle artistic photography, if we are talking about daytime photo sessions of not the most dynamic events. In poor lighting, of course, noise and a drop in detail will appear, because optical stabilization is not provided. Stereo sound does not disappoint either. The volume goes beyond the 90 dB mark, there is bass, and the frequency response itself is balanced. Perhaps, the only thing missing is support for SIM cards. Otherwise, we have an amazing gadget with no visible flaws.
