Description Xiaomi Mi Play
Xiaomi Mi Play - happiness for a gamer?
The game industry within the Android operating system is gradually evolving. Already on the platform there are several outstanding multiplayer games (Fortnite, PUBG Mobile) and titles with console-level graphics (Asphalt 9). In addition, emulation of various consoles (Nintando CameCube, Wii, Sony PSP and others) is flourishing. However, in order to plunge headlong into the world of entertainment, the buyer has to lay out large sums of money for a powerful flagship smartphone. The Chinese company Xiaomi decided to correct this situation. But did she succeed?
The appearance of the new part partially copies that of the model Mi8 Lite. The back panel is made of inexpensive polycarbonate that catches the eye. The combination of dual cameras, metal edging, a fingerprint scanner and nearly frameless 5.84-inch OGS-screen makes the phone more attractive exterior, but PHABLET appearance does not become the best in the price range. The display is characterized by a high resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, amazing brightness and contrast make it possible to work with the device even with summer sunlight, but still the picture doesn’t meet the flagship for natural color reproduction.
The processor Mediatek Helio P35 is unlikely to prove itself solely on the positive side. Low heat, excellent energy efficiency, but at the same time mediocre performance does not turn the chip into an excellent choice for fans of Android games. 4GB of RAM and a graphics accelerator PowerVRGE8320 along with the “stone” guarantee only low-average graphics settings. It is possible to store applications, music and videos both on 64GB of ROM and microSD cards.
The main 12 and 2 megapixel cameras adequately handle both day and night shooting. Artificial intelligence helps to achieve detailed and clear shots without excessive noise. The 8-megapixel front camera will please both high-quality selfies and the function of identifying people working even in the twilight. A 3000mAh battery will be a guarantee for 7 hours of active screen time without the need for a power bank. Unfortunately, contactless payments (NFC) are missing. But the combination of previously presented advantages, supported by a well-thought-out MIUI, OTG, LTE shell and a low price, makes it possible not to pay attention to the few shortcomings of the future bestseller.
