Xiaomi Poco C50 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi Poco C50 Overview
Xiaomi Poco C50 - too cheap smartphone
Creating an ultra-cheap phone is a difficult thing even for an experienced manufacturer, because you have to save literally on everything. However, sometimes a developer is overly fond of cost reduction, which is why it is likely to get an extremely cheap, but at the same time, a device that no one needs. Unfortunately, the hero of today's review got pretty close to this definition.
The appearance of the novelty is generally good for the price segment. The presence of a fingerprint sensor borrowed from the sub-flagships of the camera block line and a leather-styled rear panel leaves a pleasant impression of the exterior. Only large display frames will spoil it. The installed 6.52-inch IPS screen is very budget friendly. A small margin of brightness, low HD + resolution, obvious errors in color reproduction will not allow you to enjoy the quality of the output image, however, an inexperienced user will be able to work with such an IPS panel without any problems.
The technical characteristics are the MediaTek Helio A22 processor, 2GB / 3GB of RAM and the PowerVR GE8320 video adapter. The bundle is inefficient, but still coping with the Android 12 Go interface (MIUI proprietary shell). Jamming and small friezes are noticeable, but do not irritate with their quantity. The gaming capabilities of the chipset are modest. With minimal graphics settings, you can play World Of Tanks Blitz and Call Of Duty, but you should not expect smooth gameplay. 32GB of internal storage is allocated, so every buyer will have to use the MicroSD card slot.
The main 8 and 2-megapixel photomodules are the necessary minimum for capturing documents or static objects in excellent lighting. Any other shooting scenario will result in unsatisfactory results. But the autonomy of the phablet can only be praised. The 5000mAh battery is almost always enough for two days of using the gadget. It is a pity that the charging power is limited to 10W. The list of advantages is completed by a separate jack for wired headphones. However, the abundance of problems with performance, photo capabilities and IPS-display do not allow us to unequivocally recommend the device for purchase. Would it be better to pay a little more for a more functional alternative?
