Xiaomi Redmi K60 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi Redmi K60 Overview
Xiaomi Redmi K60 - improvement of the affordable flagship
The Chinese company Xiaomi has been loved by the audience for many years for the ability to create incredibly productive, functional and at the same time affordable smartphones. And even though today a lot of not-so-remarkable and breakthrough models come out from under the developer's conveyor, sometimes the corporation releases real hits that have almost no analogues. This is the hero of today's review.
The appearance of the novelty turned out to be memorable. It is easy to confuse the device with twice as expensive alternatives, because it features a thin glass body with rounded corners and edges, a stylish modern triple photo module unit, a flat frameless 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a barely visible 16-megapixel selfie camera lens. The AMOLED panel will please with a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels, which is enough for image clarity. The color rendition is correct, the margin of brightness is sufficient for any lighting conditions. Of course, the 120-Hz refresh rate enhances the attractiveness of the displayed image.
Specifications provide near maximum performance. In addition, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 8GB / 12GB / 16GB of RAM and the Adreno 730 video core allows you to bring the phablet autonomy up to 9-10 hours of active screen time from a 5500mAh battery. Of course, the battery can boast both fast charging at 67W and its wireless counterpart at 30W. Gamers, on the other hand, will fall in love with amazingly smooth gameplay even in resource-intensive games like Genshin Impact. At the same time, friezes due to reloading locations will be minimal. Of course, a powerful processor heats up, but the throttlin values are not very high. The choice of the buyer is provided with 128/256/512GB of ROM, however, we would not recommend the smallest version of the internal storage for purchase.
64-, 8- and 2-megapixel photosensors are headed by the brand new Omnivision OV64B module with hybrid stabilization. Its photo capabilities are much more modest than those of the top Sony cameras, but capturing a detailed evening frame is still not a big deal, and the video sequence is obtained without flaws visible to the eye. There is stereo sound, while it is quite loud, balanced and rich. Contactless NFC payments, support for 5G networks, a modified MIUI shell based on Android 13 and an infrared port expand the functionality of an Android smartphone, but moisture protection is lacking to complete the list. However, such savings helped to get a relatively inexpensive and at the same time technological device.
