Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 SE Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 SE Overview
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 SE - 5G for everyone
The Chinese company Xiaomi strives to surprise the audience not only with flagship, but also with budget smartphones, the functionality of which is expanding exponentially. So, the hero of today's review gives both work in 5G networks, and excellent autonomy, and many other nice things for very modest money that every Android user will like.
The design of the so-called novelty is completely written off from the M3 Pro model, as well as the vast majority of the parameters. Although the case is made of polycarbonate, the material used resists small scratches quite well, although the tactile sensations are far from those of tempered glass. A dual photomodule, a side fingerprint scanner, a 6.5-inch IPS screen with not the widest frames allow you to get aesthetic pleasure from an inexpensive gadget. The quality of the picture displayed on the display is excellent in terms of clarity (FullHD + resolution) and smoothness (90 Hz refresh rate), but the brightness could be higher.
The processor of the Android phone is the well-known MediaTek Dimensity 700, working in tandem with 4GB / 8GB of RAM and a Mali G57 MC2 graphics adapter. It’s hard to call the chipset truly productive, but it copes with the MIUI shell interface, and launches resource-intensive games successfully. The only exceptions will be Fortnite and Genshin Impact, which are sometimes upset by lag even with minimal graphics settings. The version of the phablet with more RAM does not really improve the situation. At the same time, the CPU is very energy efficient, so the 5000mAh battery needs to be charged infrequently, namely once every two days. It is a pity that the charging power is only 18W, it will take a long time to be at the outlet. The size of the internal storage was excellent for the lower-middle price segment of 128GB, while there is also a slot for microSD cards.
48- and 2-megapixel cameras are headed by a good Sony IMX582 sensor, which is ready to provide quite high-quality daytime shots even without optical stabilization. Of course, demanding equally detailed and natural evening photos from an affordable Android smartphone is not worth it. Video is recorded in FullHD resolution at 30 frames per second. There is no stereo sound, the only mono speaker will not let you miss a call, but you definitely won’t be able to enjoy music with it. As for other advantages of the device, but they will include an infrared port and NFC contactless payments. Thus, the device organizes everything necessary for a modern Android user for an extremely adequate amount of money.
