Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R Overview
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R - cloning on a large scale
It seems that the Chinese company Xiaomi decided to expand the range of smartphones offered indefinitely. Unfortunately, this is often done by simply renaming the phone for a new region. The hero of today's review, which is essentially a clone of the Poco M4 5G, did not escape a similar procedure. And to call this gadget outstanding is not very simple.
The appearance of the novelty is not bad, but it has a number of pronounced shortcomings. These will include a plastic back panel, an outdated design of a five-megapixel selfie camera, and not the narrowest screen bezels. The positive aspects will be a nice-looking double photomodule, beautiful colors of the cases, a convenient side fingerprint sensor. The 6.58-inch IPS display features FullHD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, so you won’t have any complaints about the clarity and smoothness of the picture. But the margin of brightness is low even by the standards of IPS panels, the direct rays of the sun significantly reduce the visibility of the image.
Technical characteristics can no longer be scolded. A completely modern MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, 4GB / 8GB of RAM and a Mali G57 MC2 video adapter have a performance of around 300 thousand points in the Antutu benchmark, so the buyer can count on a responsive MIUI shell interface (Android 12) and even a comfortable pastime in resource-intensive games. However, it should be understood that the less demanding Call Of Duty and World Of Tanks Blitz will be playable even at medium-high graphics settings, while Genshin Impact is only available at minimal presets. Autonomy is rarely a weak point in the manufacturer's devices. The Android smartphone under consideration with its 5000mAh battery (18W fast charging) was no exception. For a couple of days, you can safely forget about looking for outlets. Good and the size of the internal storage of 128GB, which can always be supplemented with microSD cards.
The disappointment for the user will be 13 and 2-megapixel main cameras, which are not pleasing with the detail even in daytime shots. Evening shots abound in noise, small details in most cases will be blurry. The video sequence lacks electronic stabilization. The only speaker is responsible for the sound, but it is unlikely to miss a call with it. If there is support for 5G networks in the gadget, then they saved money on NFC contactless payments. As a result, the phablet cannot be considered bad, but it lacks originality, and it has alternatives without obvious shortcomings.
