Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro+ Overview
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro+ - dream sub-flagship?
The line of Redmi-smartphones of the Chinese company Xiaomi evokes different emotions with each generation. Sometimes we see a real revolution in the price category, and sometimes just a few phones with the same set of qualities as their main opponents. However, the hero of today's review is much closer to the first group of devices, which is definitely pleasing.
The appearance of the novelty turned out to be modern, stylish, although not the most original. The design of the triple camera is borrowed from Realme's models, the scanner is located on the side, and the display bezels will please you with a modest thickness, if you do not pay attention to the bottom. The applied IPS-screen made it possible to significantly reduce the cost of the smartphone, as well as to attract fans of this type of matrix to the purchase. The picture does not shine with excessive brightness or contrast, but at the same time it boasts FullHD + resolution and the flagship 144Hz refresh rate. At the same time, the oleophobic coating is present on both the glass and the protective film.
Perhaps the most significant changes in comparison with its predecessors have occurred in the technical specifications. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 CPU (8GB RAM, Mali G610MC6 GPU) has incredible power, previously unseen in budget Android smartphones. The chipset outperforms the famous Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 in a number of tests and guarantees amazing performance of any games and applications. Fans of Genshin Impact and Fortnite will be pleased with the smooth gameplay, while the throttling values are far from significant, although not equal to zero. The energy efficiency of the chipset is not bad, so even with a "gluttonous" IPS display, the phablet functions for about a day and a half. Of course, the 4400mAh battery was not without fast charging, the power of which reached an impressive 120W. As for the size of the internal storage, 128/256/512GB should be enough for most of the audience.
64-, 8- and 5-megapixel cameras are unlikely to disappoint in daylight shooting, because decent lenses, together with optimized software, can easily cope even with capturing moving objects. But the deterioration of lighting leads to the appearance of noise in the photographs and the unpleasant effect of ghosting in the videos. The reason lies in saving on optical stabilization. Sound is much better. Here, the buyer will be pleased with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, and a dedicated jack for wired headphones. Of course, the technological gadget has not lost contactless NFC payment, support for 5G networks, infrared port, however, the developer has reserved the metal edging, moisture protection and a wireless method of recharging the battery for full-fledged flagships. But I don’t feel like scolding an affordable, functional and productive Android smartphone for minor simplifications.
