Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro Overview
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro - sudden borrowings
The Chinese company Xiaomi often creates original and recognizable designs for its smartphones. However, sometimes a manufacturer decides to save money and largely copy the exterior of one or another successful device from a well-known brand. But in the case of the hero of today's review, the situation is somewhat different.
The appearance of the new product is very similar to that of the Infinix Zero 30 5G, which is striking, because this developer is more likely to be catching up. The color and shape of the case, the outline of the block of two photomodules - it’s hard not to see the similarity. However, all of the above, coupled with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and thin display frames, still leaves a positive impression of what you see. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display is pleasantly surprising. In addition to FullHD+ resolution, it received an excellent 120 Hz picture refresh rate, a brightness reserve of 1500 nits, and the PWM effect was almost completely eliminated. People who are sensitive to it will definitely appreciate this feature of the AMOLED panel.
The technical characteristics are less encouraging. The MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor provides performance of 350-400 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark, so even its combination with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and a Mali G57MC2 video accelerator is unlikely to satisfy the needs of modern gamers. Really resource-intensive projects like Honkai: Star Rail or Undecember will require lowering the graphics settings to the minimum presets. The demanding MIUI shell based on Android 13 functions decently, although microlags are sometimes noticeable. The amount of permanent memory can be 128, 256 or 512GB depending on the configuration; ROM can always be increased using MicroSD cards.
Potential problems with autonomy are eliminated by a 5000 mAh battery. It lasts for one and a half to two days of using the mobile assistant. The fast charging power is 33W, which is not much today. You will have to stay at the outlet for more than an hour. Stereo speakers are reserved for the more expensive models of the line, but you can enjoy your favorite music with wired headphones. Support for 5G networks is present, but there is no FDD-LTE B7, which is important for the operation of 4G in a number of countries in Europe and the CIS, and there are also no NFC contactless payments. Thus, this is definitely not the best gadget of the corporation, for which it is very easy to find an opponent. And the secondary appearance does not add any attractiveness points.
