But just a few years ago, the products of the corporation were known, and the flagship Axon with the number 7 in the name impressed with its design, functionality and outstanding sound. What has changed in a short period of time and can the once popular developer be able to regain its former glory?

The appearance of the new items has become more modern. The design of the photomodules is now in the form of a square, a fourth camera has been added. Glass back panel in a metal frame, Frameless 6.47-inch AMOLED panel, with a fingerprint reader look together quite naturally. The quality of the display has grown in terms of brightness and contrast, but the resolution of 2340x1080 pixels is enough for the clarity of the reproduced image. The 60 Hz image refresh rate looks lagging behind for the top-end device.

Specifications in the face of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor , 6GB / 8GB of RAM and the Adreno 620 video adapter cope with games at maximum graphics settings, but there is no huge supply of performance, as well as a special cooling system, which will cause a noticeable effect in the most demanding applications heating and even throttling. 128 / 256GB of ROM can be expanded with microSD cards, there will be no shortage of memory with such internal storage.

The main 64-, 8- and 2-megapixel (pair of sensors) modules, led by Samsung GW1, can be easily removed under any lighting conditions. However, the gadget still does not reach the best camera phones in terms of detailing the pictures and the amount of noise, and there is no optical stabilization. There are few complaints about the 20-megapixel front-end. The resulting selfies are characterized by natural color reproduction and the correct white balance. Autonomy will also not be a weakness of the phablet, because a 4000mAh battery will give about two days of active functioning of the gadget on a single charge. Support for NFC (contactless payments) and 5G networks give the device additional relevance, and the lack of a headphone output and high price, on the contrary, will upset potential buyers. Thus, the resulting flagship, although not bad, is still not distinguished by anything against the background of numerous opponents.
