ZTE Axon Multy - a revolutionary "clamshell"

The smartphone market has not offered us anything really innovative for a long time. Even the recent presentation of products of the American company Apple did not become a revelation, offering only the controversial technology FaceID, analogues of which were already in other phones. But still the world is not left without innovators, and the Chinese company ZTE has decided to surprise us pleasantly with its developments.

The novelty design makes you remember the proverb "All new is well overlooked old". However, to the form factor that managed to sink into oblivion, the developers added an interesting "chip." Two practically bezelless 5.2-inches FullHD-screens can be combined into the one 6.8-inches AMOLED-panel with a resolution at 2160x1920 pixels, receiving an excellent multimedia gadget for web-surfing and watching movies. The highest brightness and contrast of the huge display, combined with ergonomic, beautiful, not the thickest body for such a design, cause true delight. In addition, a fingerprint scanner is also installed.

Technical parameters are not top, but still suitable for games and other demanding applications. They are represented by a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 530 graphics chip. There is a small performance margin for the next year too. 32GB is allocated to the ROM, but with the device's adaptability to movies and serials, the MicroSD slot is very useful.

The role of both the rear and front cameras is performed by a high-qualitative 20-megapixel module, which can easily handle both dynamic objects and mediocre lighting. But the battery could be more capacious. 3120mAh is enough for only 5-6 hours of active screen time, so that the powerbank in the bag will not be superfluous. 4G, OTG, NFC and improved Android Nougat make the impression from an innovative device even stronger, allowing it to be a real potential hit.
