ZTE Nubia Red Magic 11 Pro+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
ZTE Nubia RedMagic 11 Pro+ Overview
ZTE Nubia RedMagic 11 Pro+ - a joy for any gamer
Every year, the Chinese company ZTE delights its fans with flagship gaming smartphones with numerous competitive advantages. Today's review subject is no exception, outperforming many of its competitors in a number of areas. Let's take a closer look at this potential bestseller.
The new device's appearance evokes nothing but positive emotions. It's hard not to notice the almost bezel-less display with a built-in, precise fingerprint scanner, the fully-fledged under-display 16-megapixel selfie camera, and the metal frame with touch-sensitive trigger keys. Particularly striking is the stunning glass back panel with its neatly arranged photo modules and unique textures. Particularly noteworthy is the active liquid cooling system, which has never been seen before in a phone. While this design prevents full water resistance (IPX8 only), it does keep the case from heating up significantly. The 6.85-inch AMOLED panel delivers a highly detailed image at a resolution of 2688x1216 pixels, boasting a peak brightness of 4000 nits, a perfectly responsive touch panel, natural color reproduction, and a 144Hz refresh rate.
This design allows for throttling of the powerful hardware, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 5 CPU, 12/16/24GB of RAM, and Adreno 840 GPU. Needless to say, this combination, which scores around 3,700,000 points in AnTuTu, easily handles any resource-intensive task. Genshin Impact, Fortnite, Zenless Zone Zero—all of these titles will be playable with maximum graphics presets and a frame rate of around 100-120 FPS. The 7500 mAh battery easily delivers over 12-14 hours of screen-on time. In addition to the standard 120W wired charging, the manufacturer also includes an 80W wireless charger. Storage options include 256/512/1024 GB.
The developer touts the camera capabilities, but in reality, they're not all that impressive. Optical image stabilization is exclusive to the main 50-megapixel Omnivision sensor, which handles both daytime and evening photography admirably. The 50-megapixel wide-angle lens is also impressive, although noticeably smaller. The 2-megapixel macro camera, however, is beyond praise; it's practically useless. The stereo sound, however, is among the best in its class. It's loud, rich, and voluminous. Of course, the model also includes NFC and 5G support. Ultimately, this is a top-notch gaming device that will undoubtedly find its buyer.
