ZTE Nubia Z60S Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
ZTE Nubia Z60S Pro Overview
ZTE Nubia Z60S Pro - beauty in Chinese
It’s hard to deny the Chinese company ZTE its ability to make beautiful smartphones. The manufacturer's designers do not sit idly by and every year give us several dozen original, distinctive phones that are so easy to fall in love with at first sight. The hero of today's review also attracts attention, but in addition to his good appearance, he also has a number of other competitive advantages.
The design of the new product is beautiful thanks to the attractive innovative block of photo modules, stylish colors of the rear glass panel, stunning metal frame and frameless 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The monoblock looks like an expensive flagship. The AMOLED panel used does not come without an abundance of advantages. Thus, a resolution of 2800x1260 pixels is enough for clear images, and its refresh rate of 120 hertz has a beneficial effect on the smoothness of the content. The maximum brightness of 2000 nits today is far from a record, but image visibility in direct sunlight is more than good.
The technical characteristics are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, 8GB/12GB/16GB of RAM and an Adreno 740 video adapter. The chipset is one step behind the top solutions of the year, but its performance of more than one and a half million points in the AnTuTu benchmark is enough for the vast majority of users. The Android 14 interface is devoid of even a hint of lag, and resource-intensive games like Zenless Zero Zone function at the highest graphic settings. The processor has no problems with energy efficiency. A 5100mAh battery provides up to 8-10 hours of active screen time, this is a very decent indicator. There is no wireless charging, but its wired counterpart is endowed with a power of 80W. Of course, the sub-flagship could not do without capacious internal storage of 256/512/1024GB in UFS 4.0 format.
The photo capabilities of the phablet are not inferior to those of its opponents. The main 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 sensor with hybrid stabilization, the same 50-megapixel wide-angle lens from Omnivision and the 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom cope well with a variety of shooting scenarios. Even poor lighting will not be an obstacle to obtaining highly detailed pictures and videos. The stereo sound is loud and rich, and for fans of TWS headphones there is an LDAC codec. Support for contactless payments NFC and 5G networks add to the list of advantages of this extremely interesting device.
