Vivo X300 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
vivo X300 Overview
The vivo X300 – compact, powerful, and stunning
In just a few years, the Chinese company Vivo has become a near-leader in the sub-flagship and flagship smartphone market. The manufacturer strives to ensure its products combine functionality, performance, and battery life. And today's review sample lives up to that description.
The new device's appearance is stunning. The recognizable, signature round camera module with the ZEISS logo in the center, the identical, premium-looking metal-trimmed rear panels, and the narrow display bezels with a built-in fingerprint scanner create a minimalist yet harmonious and stylish design. The 6.31-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 2640x1216 pixels, which, given its diagonal size, ensures excellent image clarity. While the 120Hz refresh rate and natural color reproduction aren't surprising, the 4500 nit peak brightness isn't found in all devices. And the oleophobic coating is very effective.
The specifications include a top-end MediaTek Dimensity 9500 CPU, 12GB/16GB of RAM, and a Mali G1 Ultra GPU. AnTuTu scores well over three million points, and the Android 16 interface runs smoothly. Gamers will also appreciate the processor, as it allows them to comfortably enjoy the most demanding games, including Zenless Zone Zero, Diablo Immortal, Genshin Impact, and others. Of course, all of these games can be run smoothly at maximum graphics settings. Throttling and heating of the compact case are unavoidable, but these issues typically manifest themselves in synthetic benchmarks. The battery capacity is 6040 mAh, so you won't have to worry about it suddenly draining. Both wired (90W) and wireless (40W) charging are available. Storage options range from 256GB to 1024GB.
The camera capabilities are devoid of any cost-cutting. The high-quality 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPB sensor and 50-megapixel telephoto lens (3x optical zoom) equipped with hybrid image stabilization make the device a true camera phone. Moving objects and poor lighting rarely hinder the ability to capture flawless photos and videos. Stereo sound is also excellent. The speakers produce loud, rich, and pleasant sound. 5G and eSIM support, NFC contactless payments, an IR port, IP68 water resistance, and a very affordable price make this device a near-perfect choice.
