Realme 14 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme 14 Pro Overview
Realme 14 Pro - beauty without a price tag
The next generation of mid-range smartphones from the Chinese company Realme has made several important steps forward. Thus, the phones, already excellent in terms of design, have become even closer to flagships in their exterior. At the same time, other parameters of the devices have been upgraded.
As noted earlier, the appearance of the new product is truly impressive. The glass back panel has an original, memorable texture and is decorated with a round block of photo modules. The side edging is still not made of metal, but is successfully stylized as it, and the front surface surprises with the virtually absent frames of the 6.7-inch display. Its protected glass is characterized by a small (42 degrees) rounding around the entire perimeter, thanks to which the ergonomics become even better. The quality of the displayed image is high, although not flagship. Still, the FullHD+ resolution with the selected diagonal is gradually losing its relevance, although the clarity of the content is more than satisfactory. But the maximum brightness exceeding 2000 nits, smooth image at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, realistic color rendition and oleophobic coating will leave an exclusively positive impression.
The technical characteristics were the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 CPU, 8 GB / 12 GB RAM and the Mali-G615 MC2 graphics core. This combination has already pleased both critics and users. Performance in the region of 750 thousand points in the AnTuTu Benchmark test allows you to count not only on a responsive and problem-free Android 15 (RealmeUI shell), but also on lightning-fast application launch, remarkable gaming capabilities of the chipset. With almost no throttling, the processor copes with resource-intensive Honkai: Star Rail, Fortnite and Genshin Impact at medium-high graphics settings. Gamers with a limited budget will be pleased with this result. The battery, increased to 6000 mAh, provides about 12-13 hours of screen time, but the fast charging power was 45 W. Far from a record, but you don’t need to stay near the outlet for long. The internal storage is 256/512 GB.
Unfortunately, the telephoto lens that once appeared in the Pro version never returned, and the wide-angle lens has also disappeared. But the updated 50-megapixel sensor from Sony with hybrid stabilization and an excellent triple LED flash provides good detailing of objects even when shooting in the evening. The 16-megapixel selfie camera does not fail either. There is stereo sound, NFC contactless payments, and modem support for 5G frequencies. As a result, we have one of the future bestsellers, ready to cover a significant part of the market audience.
