Realme GT7 Pro Racing Edition Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme GT7 Pro Racing Edition Overview
Realme GT7 Pro Racing Edition - huge compromises to maintain performance
The processor is the heart of any smartphone. It is on it that the comfort of working with a mobile assistant, how stable games and other resource-intensive applications will function depend. The hero of today's review has become the cheapest phone based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, but for the sake of this achievement, the manufacturer has greatly reduced some of the other parameters of the device.
The appearance of the new product has not suffered, they are no worse than that of a more expensive predecessor. The glass back panel is magnificent both in strict black and in airy light colors, both the photo module block and the metal frame are beautiful, and the thin frames of the 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a built-in fingerprint scanner will please. The display is inferior to top solutions only in picture clarity, but the resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels is generally optimal for the diagonal used. The peak brightness can reach as much as 6000 nits and eliminate all problems with content visibility on a sunny day, the smoothness of the image at a refresh rate of 120 Hz is impressive, the color rendering is devoid of obvious errors.
In addition to the previously mentioned chipset, the technical characteristics include 12/16 GB of RAM and an Adreno 830 video adapter. The results in benchmarks are record-breaking, the same AnTuTu shows more than three million points, Geekbench in multi-core mode - over 10,000. Genshin Impact, Fortnite, Diablo Immortal, Wreckfest - the most resource-demanding projects are easily and effortlessly launched at maximum graphics settings. The frame rate sometimes reaches 120 frames per second. There is heating, throttling is also present under load, but not critical, the drop in chip power is imperceptible in real life. The battery has an excellent capacity of 6500 mAh, so you can count on 9-10 hours of active screen time. Wired charging is extremely efficient (120 W), but its wireless counterpart is missing due to the need to contain costs. The permanent memory is 256/512 GB, UFS 4.1 standard.
Photo capabilities have been simplified. The telephoto lens has disappeared, which is why it is now more difficult to capture distant objects without loss of quality. The 8-megapixel wide-angle camera is very simple, the user is unlikely to use it often. As a result, there remains the main 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 sensor with hybrid stabilization, which is really good. The detail of the photo material is preserved even during evening and night photo sessions. The stereo speakers are loud, bassy, the sound is voluminous and rich. NFC, 5G network support and an IR port have not been cut out, which is undoubtedly pleasing. Thus, we have before us a significantly cut-down flagship, which, however, has not lost its charm.
