The hero of today's review is trying to reduce the gap, which he largely succeeds in.

The appearance of the new product is stylish, although a number of the developer's solutions reveal the real cost of the unit. Thus, the case is thin, ergonomic, but made entirely of polycarbonate. In terms of tactile sensations, the material is definitely inferior to glass and metal. But the almost non-protruding block of photo modules, beautiful colors of the rear panels and reduced display frames leave a positive impression. The eye of the 16-megapixel selfie camera is almost invisible, the fingerprint scanner is built into the screen. The flat 6.78-inch AMOLED panel will definitely not be criticized. It combines impressive image clarity at a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels, excellent smoothness at a 144-Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 4000 nits, easily coping with the onslaught of sunlight. The color rendition is competently calibrated, the oleophobic coating is effective.

The selection of technical characteristics was also successful. Today, there is no chipset that surpasses the results of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 (12/16 GB RAM and Mali-G925 Immortalis MP12 video accelerator) in the AnTuTu benchmark. More than three million points in the popular test guarantee that the user will not find even microlags in the Android 15 interface, and all existing games will be available at maximum graphics presets with an extremely stable framerate. At the same time, not all the processor power will be used, which, together with a high-quality cooling system, allows you to avoid throttling. The energy efficiency of the CPU does not raise questions, from a 6100 mAh battery it is easy to get about 8-9 hours of active screen time. Fast wired charging boasts a power of 120 W, but they saved on its wireless alternative to contain the cost. For the same reasons, there is no moisture protection according to IP68 standards. The permanent memory is allocated 256/512 GB without a slot for MicroSD cards.

Photo capabilities cannot be considered a strong point of the device, but they are not as bad as they could be. The 50MP wide-angle lens copes with its duties with dignity, and the main 50MP module with hybrid stabilization is ready to cope even with evening photo sessions. The pictures are not devoid of noise, but the detail is at a high level. But there is no telephoto lens, it will be more difficult to capture distant objects. The stereo sound is loud, rich, pleasant to the ear. There is also contactless payment NFC, support for 5G networks, an IR port for controlling household appliances. But what is missing is a global version of the device, which means there are untranslated applications and services, 4G due to the lack of FDD-LTE B7 may not function in the best way outside the city. But these shortcomings fade against the background of numerous advantages of an affordable gadget.
